By Mara Hernandez-Capili

Arts is alive at the Burlington this May of 2009, will feature tons of works of arts for the viewing public. Works of art are both appreciated for its academic content and its beauty. Photography for one captures me. A picture will sometime catch me in a state of trance; just wondering about its beauty will give me hours of standing in front of it.

Paintings are done on many mediums; there are water color, charcoal, and oil paint in this form of art moments are captured by the eye of the artist and induced by his own hands. Light is dictated by the artist pressure on his or her brush and the shadows are given vividly by the mixing of color.

Vermont artist are one who have the said organization. A lot of organizations are now formed to showcase the works of its artist. A single artist won't be able to effectively grace the art world single handedly. An artist needs help from organizations, who are committed in helping artists. In here they allow artist of different forms to show their works of art. One example is metal works, where mechanical prowess is mixed with the creative mind of an artist.

Clay sculpture is also one, where a mixture of soil and water is formed in to different expressions of an artist. A lot of other forms of arts are available in this organization. And on this year at the month of May they will be doing an event that will showcase arts like photography, paintings, candle making, glass art even furniture's and jewelries.

This is a great way to have you friends and family on board a educational and visual wonder. Let your mind be stimulated by works of art done by the locals of Vermont.
